Cameron Watt is a British painter based in Sweden. He studied drawing and painting at Edinburgh college of art in 2001.

"If I am cheerful the sky is pink, the billboards advertise sushi and the figures skateboard through the streets. If I am down, tired or hungry the sky is a mess and the figures, trees and buildings I draw are down, tired and hungry.

My goal is to try to capture the sensations of moving through a place, looking out of the bus window, the lights and sounds ricocheting all over the place. The brief glances of people doing their thing combined with whatever emotions and thoughts are the soup of the day in my head. I hope that by trying to capture what affect a landscape has on me will make for a far more interesting interpretation of a landscape painting but also a good reminder of where my head was at in the moment."
